Emptiness

Everytime I walk away I know nothing but emptiness. An empty hollow shielded by a shell of flesh drifts through the crowds. No emotions. No thoughts. Only a longing for something that cannot be expressed by words. Something unseen and unheard. Something that can only be felt and is only known for the sinking space that is left when it goes.

We seek to do what is right. We shun the dark and seek the light. And always we seek answers, answers to questions we are always asking, answers to questions we are too afraid to ask, answers to questions only our subconcious hearts know we need to ask.

But just sometimes, the answers lie in the darkness, a darkness that needs but the glimmer of the candle we are too afraid to light.
